The Black Student Union at TL Hanna High School aims to educate, celebrate, and represent the black experience and diaspora via community outreach, volunteering, and event planning. One major purpose of the group is to encourage diversity and the celebration of different cultures. Advocating for community outreach in predominant areas of people of color is another focus. The BSU members will also provide examples of unity and be positive examples of leadership to students of color.

Garden Club educates students on how to identify and care for different species of plants. Our proposed project is landscaping the courtyard. We hope to plant and maintain a variety of plants, flowers, and trees, as well as educate others about the various types of plant life and ecosystems with educational placards. Medical Ethics Discussion Club: Students will get together monthly to have academic and engaging discussions about the ethical decisions that medical professionals often face.
